In November 2015, Grace Horner had just been laid off from her “dream job” as a public relations director in the data analytics space when the company downsized. Sitting around a table at lunch with some female friends a week later, she learned how many of them could use her for small tasks here and there. Blog posts. Letting the dogs out while one was at work. Running errands. Helping with social media and email marketing. Writing and addressing thank you or holiday cards. From that conversation, The Go-to Girl was born!
We are all busy and wearing multiple hats on a daily basis. There are tasks and responsibilities you may not particularly enjoy, or feel get put on the back burner too often – both personally and professionally. The Go-to Girl can help! Miss Horner offers a wide range of service, many of which can be done remotely, for a flat hourly rate.
Over the last seven years, Miss Horner even found a niche with landscape designers and now holds a book of business doing seasonal planter installation and landscape maintenance.
Her goal is to help her clients feel less stressed, more balanced, and like their time is being effectively spent on the priorities that matter to them. Hiring The Go-to Girl allows you more time to take pride and ownership of the parts of your life that you are really passionate about in your life. That’s why Miss Horner always says, “everyone needs a Go-to Girl!”
